A widespread cold rain is likely for the entire area today as temperatures hold steady in the upper 30s and low 40s. Late tonight, as temperatures drop, a winter mix could develop, especially across Northwest Arkansas. Some of the higher elevations could see a switch over to light freezing rain. Rain will end from west to east Saturday but the cold a cloudy weather will continue for the weekend.
