Morning Fire Destroys Trailer Home Where Shed Burned Earlier This Month

ROLAND, Okla. (KFSM) — An early morning fire Tuesday (Jan. 22) destroyed a house trailer on the same site where firefighters battled a barn fire recently.

The Roland, Muldrow and Liberty fire departments responded to the fire at 475781 E. 1100 Road in Roland about 2 a.m. to find a modified house trailer on fire.

Firefighters were still working to put out the fire an hour later.

A relative of the owner said someone lived on the property, but no one was inside the home at the time of the fire. The relative also said there was no electricity on in the trailer home at the time of the fire. She also said the site was the same location where a barn had burned earlier this month.

Muldrow firefighters, who also responded to the barn fire with Roland and Liberty departments, confirmed the location was the same as the Jan. 9 barn fire. They posted photos of that fire on their Facebook page. The cause of that fire has not been determined, they said.

No injuries were reported in Tuesday's fire, firefighters said.
