Police: Arkansas Woman Used Box Cutter In Attack At Funeral

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Police in Arkansas say a 32-year-old woman was arrested on charges that she used a box cutter to attack two women as they attended a family funeral.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette cites police records in reporting that Terra M. Horton of Little Rock is facing two counts of second-degree battery following the December attack at a Baptist church in North Little Rock.

Horton was arrested Wednesday and by the next day was no longer listed on the Pulaski County jail roster.

Records show police responded to the church to find several people fighting.

Authorities say the two victims were taken to an emergency room where they needed dozens of staples to close their wounds.

It’s not clear if Horton has an attorney to speak on her behalf and a working phone number for her could not be found.
