POTEAU, Okla. (KFSM) —LeFlore County EMS are on the scene of a single-car fatal accident southwest of Poteau on Hwy 271.
Three passengers were in the car at the time of the wreck.
80-year-old passenger Martha Potter died at the scene of the crash. The driver Kenneth Duncan and passenger Scottina Carlson were both treated at local hospitals for multiple injuries.
An incident report states the car left the roadway and struck a tree.
It's unclear what caused Duncan to go off the road at this time. His condition leading up to the accident is under investigation.
