SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KFSM) — The Springdale Fire Department is on the scene of a structure fire on the south side of town on Aline Ct. and Bonita Pl.
According to officials, it was a single story house and the home was nearly fully involved when first responders arrived.
One person was transported to a local hospital, but the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
Assistant Springdale Fire Chief Jim Vaughn said at about 9:40 p.m. Friday evening they received several 911 calls about the fire. He said there was minor damage to a couple of adjacent houses, but the fire was under control within about 20 minutes.
There were approximately seven first responder units on the scene including four firetrucks and one ambulance.
Officials say it is unclear as to what caused the fire.
