LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Little Rock police are investigating an officer-involved shooting at Shackleford Crossings Sunday afternoon.
Chief Keith Humphrey says officers were called out to the 2700 block of Shackleford Rd. around 2:44 p.m on reports of a suspicious person.
Police made contact with the man who ended up firing shots at two officers.
The police chief says no officers were hurt, but the suspect was shot and taken to the hospital.
Authorities identify the suspect as a white male and say that he has died.
The police department says that the two officers in the incident are white males.
No other details on the incident have been released at this time.
