TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Police say two suspects wanted in connection with a homicide in southern Arizona could be headed to northwest Arkansas.

Pima County Sheriff's officials say 41-year-old Shane Martin and 29-year-old Marietta Hope Keeter are believed to be on their way to an area in Carroll County, Arkansas where they were last known to be living.

Sheriff's deputies responded to a check welfare call at a home last Friday night (April 26) and discovered the body of a dead woman inside.

The victim has been identified as 73-year-old Julia Rankin and authorities say her body had obvious signs of trauma.

Homicide detectives took over the case and identified Martin and Keeter as suspects.

Sheriff's officials wouldn't immediately say Monday how the two suspects are linked to the case.

If you recognize these two or have any information on their whereabouts, call police immediately.
