TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma’s attorney general has filed a murder charge against a man suspected of providing a lethal dose of methamphetamine to another man who died moments after injecting it.

Tulsa County court records indicate that Attorney General Mike Hunter’s office charged 31-year-old Brandon Fryhover with first-degree murder Thursday in the drug overdose death of 26-year-old Taylor Kinyon. Court records do not list an attorney who could speak on Fryhover’s behalf.

Kinyon died Nov. 16 after injecting methamphetamine allegedly provided by Fryhover. The Office of the State Medical Examiner ruled that Kinyon died of methamphetamine toxicity.

Hunter says Fryhover told police he supplied the drugs to Kinyon on the day he died and found Kinyon unconscious in his bedroom shortly after the two men injected the drug.
