FORT SMITH, Ark. (KFSM) — The United Way of Fort Smith Area is hosting a telethon to help raise money for flood recovery efforts in the River Valley.
Stay tuned to Channel 5 Tuesday evening (June 18) during the 4,5, 6 and 9 p.m. news programs for the United Way of Fort Smith Area's flood recovery telethon! Daren Bobb, Garrett Lewis and Erika Thomas will be there to lend a helping hand! Veronica Ortega will wrap up the event for the 10 p.m. newscast.
There will be volunteer call-takers to answer phones from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.
Former Razorbacks Tyler Wilson and Drew Morgan will be answering phones from 6:30-7 p.m. Local law enforcement and emergency management will be answering from 5-5:30 p.m.

All proceeds raised will stay local to help those impacted by the historic flood in the River Valley.
