GOSHEN, Ark. (KFSM) -- The Goshen Fire Department responded to a house fire south of Elkins this morning (Nov. 27).
According to a Facebook post, the department was called in to assist the Elkins Fire Department around 4:30 a.m. with a two-story residential fire on Durham McCord Rd. in Washington County.
Pictures and video taken from the scene show flames shooting high into the night sky. The damage to the home is significant.
Two people were able to safely evacuate from the home, according to Elkins Fire Chief J.D. DeMotte.
This cause of the fire is still under investigaiton.
Their post says that the Washington County Sheriff's Office, Central EMS, Round Mountain Volunteer Fire Department and the Whitehouse Fire Department were on scene.
