JOHNSON, Arkansas — Bella Grace has always had a passion for rain and shine so forecasting for 5NEWS is a dream come true.
Bella has lived in a variety of midwestern states including Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin. Her exposure to a variety of weather phenomena opened her eyes to the wild world of weather. From thundersnow to tornadoes, she's seen it all. Her background in pageantry sparked a love for public speaking, making meteorology the perfect merger between her two passions.
Having seen her fair share of snowstorms in the Great North, she inched her way south for college. She graduated from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana in 2023 with a B.S. in meteorology and a minor in mathematics. Though her family and friends would say her head is always in the clouds, Bella spent a lot of her time in college leading her sorority and participating in a variety of organizations.
As a true Midwesterner, Bella's favorite activity has always been watching the sky turn green ahead of a storm. Although, watching her beloved trampoline fly into a pond in her youth did sour that experience for a while. It was her love of warm weather and thunderstorms that drew her further south to join the 5NEWS Weather Team, and Arkansas did not disappoint.
Outside of the office, Bella enjoys painting, reading, and, above all, eating good food. If you have a favorite restaurant in Northwest, AR feel free to send them her way!
