JOHNSON, Arkansas — Before working at 5NEWS, Jose gained experience at several news stations. He is a proud Hog having graduated from the Walter J. Lemke Department of Journalism at the University of Arkansas with a Journalism Degree.
Jose was raised in Springdale and is proud to call it home. He was born in Emporia, Kansas, but his family moved to Northwest Arkansas a few months after his birth.
He loves to spend time with his partner, Ariana, and his daughter, Adelynn. As an avid outdoorsman, you may find him hiking Devil’s Den or swimming in Beaver Lake.
Coming from a film background in the Springdale School District, Jose loves music, film, anime and movies.
