Golfing with a high-tech twist at Cartpath Social

The center has four bays with golfing simulators that track the speed, angle, direction, and power of player's swings to simulate the path of the ball.

LOWELL, Ark. — The Around the Corner crew swung on over to Cartpath Social, a hobby golfing entertainment center in Lowell with a high-tech twist.

The center has four bays with golfing simulators that track the speed, angle, direction, and power of player's swings to simulate the path of the ball. The simulators also host recreations of some of the most famous courses in the world.

If anybody isn't feeling up to tech-enhanced golf, there's also a small putting green available.

One of the owners of Cartpath Social, Nate Gairhan says he was inspired to open the center while attending college, "We would go every Tuesday and play a round at a simulator, none of us were any good but it was a ton of fun to just hang out, play some golf and goof around."

"Since then we've become more invested in golf," said Gairhan. "For years we wished there was a place where you could just come and have fun ... we are very passionate about the local area and love that we get to become more closely knit with NWA through this business."
