FORT SMITH, Ark. — Westark Barber College is hosting a back-to-school event on Aug 17 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The event is called "Braids & Fades" and will provide free haircuts and braiding for students of all ages by local barbers.
"We are honored to offer FREE haircuts and braiding for all ages! Our talented and compassionate stylists will be there to create beautiful looks that will leave you feeling confident and radiant," said House of Barbers.
The event will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and stylists ask that students come with their hair washed and blow-dried.
Along with hair services, the event will provide over 100 free backpacks filled with school supplies.
