African Diaspora-inspired event to celebrate local artists at Crystal Bridges

Attendees will have the opportunity to make jewelry, learn dance sequences and shop.

BENTONVILLE, Ark. — An event at Crystal Bridges Museum on Thursday, Nov. 30 will provide a multicultural experience. Social Dance Night: An Afro-fusion Affair will be presented by Her Set Her Sound and The Empowerment Initiative.

There will be "vibrant foods," drinks and local DJs, creators and entrepreneurs at the unique event. Attendees will also have the opportunity to make jewelry, learn dance sequences and shop. 

A dance will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight with live DJs from our area. 

These are just some of the great music genres they will be playing:

  • Afrobeats 
  • Amapiano
  • Dancehall 
  • Soul 

The event will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the museum's Great Hall. 

Tickets are $25 or $20 for members. If you only wish to attend the dance, tickets are $12.50 or $10 for members.
