A sweet smell is in the air along the hillsides of Altus Arkansas with the grape harvest going at full tilt. These grapes will soon become Wiederkehr wine, processed and bottled at the Wiederkehr wine cellars, the largest and oldest winery in mid America.
They've been dowing this here since the Swiss way since 1880. You can visit the vineyards throughout the year, but once a year it's a full limmersion into the European heritage celebrating the fruits...of their labor at wine fest!
