Oklahoma farm helps families make 'memories one Christmas tree at a time'

The farm has been open for five years, but the Armstrongs started growing trees 7 years ago in preparation.

MULDROW, Okla. — Dean and Carrie Armstrong have one motto for their Oklahoma business: “Making memories one Christmas tree at a time.”

D&C Holiday Farm in Muldrow welcomes thousands of people every year to enjoy the decorations and animals for free during business hours.

The farm has been open for five years, but the Armstrongs started growing trees 7 years ago in preparation.

Now, D&C has roughly 13,000 Christmas trees to choose from for the 2023 holiday season.

Not only does the farm offer trees, but Dean and Carrie also offer an enjoyable, festive experience with a train that travels through the farm, several cute furry friends to pet, and many photo booths scattered around the farm.

They even have a holiday store with all the Christmas decorations you could want. You can indulge in some hot chocolate to stay warm during your visit too.

For the fourth episode of the Around the Corner holiday series, the 5NEWS morning crew explored the D&C Holiday Farm before it is set to close on Christmas Day.

Dean was kind enough to give Tiffany and Zac a special tutorial on how to build a Christmas wreath like the ones they sell on the farm.

Although you won't be able to make the wreaths with Dean, you can purchase one just like them at D&C.

The farm will be open on Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
