ROGERS, Ark. — From corporate events to birthday parties, K1 Speed in Rogers proves you can never be too old to enjoy racing go-karts.
Rogers is one of 86 locations across the country with a K1 track. The Arkansas race track, which is located at 2107 W Walnut Street, has electric go-karting at all skill levels.
There are only two requirements: Juniors must be at least 4' and adults must be at least 4'10" in order to ride.
Due to the tracks being open to people of all ages, K1 Speed stays open late on the weekends! K1's hours:
- Monday through Thursday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Friday from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.
- Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m.
- Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
K1 also offers birthday parties for kids, teens, and adults each day of the week. Each party crowns the top three winners of the race.
Kid parties start at $60 per child and include a 12-lap qualifying race, a 12-lap final event race, and a party room reserved for an hour.
Teen parties start at $65 per teen. They also include a 12-lap qualifying race and an hour room rental, but the teens get a 14-lap final event.
Finally, they offer an Adult Mini Grand Prix Package and an Adult Grand Prix Package. Mini packages start at $65 per person and include everything a teen part includes. The larger packages start at $80 per person and include three 12-lap practice races, a 12-lap qualifying race, a 14-lap final event race, and an hour room rental.
Rates for each party go up by $10 on the weekend.
Not only do they host birthday parties but K1 also can host bachelor parties, company parties, corporate events, and corporate team-building experiences.
Before taking on the indoor track, you will need to purchase a K1 Speed Annual License for $7.95.
Once you get your K1 license and want to "Arrive and Drive," you can drop in and pay for three races for $62.95, two races for $48.95, or one race for $26.95.
Speedpasses are also available for $64.95 and include two races, a license, and a t-shirt.
