FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Winter Nights is a perfect drop-in event at the Walton Arts Center on Dickson Street in Fayetteville to get you in the holiday spirit.
The 5NEWS morning crew got a good look at the festive display for week two of the holiday series of Around the Corner.
The free, family-friendly event is decorated with spectacular lights and all the silver bells you could ask for every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6 p.m. to midnight until Dec. 22. The Walton Arts Center will do a one-time screening of "The Polar Express" on Dec. 22 at 7 p.m. to conclude Winter Nights.
When you walk into the winter wonderland, you can grab some snacks or a drink before you get settled. For snack options, they offer pizza-by-the-slice, s'mores, holiday trail mix, kettle corn, frozen custard, and more. They also offer hot chocolate, cocktails, mocktails, plus more drink options.
In case you need some inspiration for a Christmas card that you have yet to send out, there is also a photo room to capture the holiday fun. Tiffany, Jo, and Zac jumped on the opportunity.
The winter wonderland is not just contained inside the Walton Arts Center, but it spills outdoors into the garden and the amphitheater where people have been renting snow globes this season with family and friends.
You can enjoy dinner, a fire, and company in the snow globes. Unfortunately, the snow globes are all booked this season, but you will want to reserve a spot next year.
Although the snow globes are booked, there is still a lot of free seating and heaters for you to come and enjoy the ambiance comfortably.
Stay tuned for next week's episode of Around the Corner.
