SPRINGDALE, Ark. — A new coffee shop is in town, but this one comes with a Latin twist.
Con Pilas Coffee Haus is a Latin-inspired coffee and brunch spot located at 7253 W Sunset Ave.
A soft opening was held on Friday, Aug. 30, but the grand opening was on Sept. 1, and the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 3.
Miss Arkansas attended the ceremony with the Springdale Chamber of Commerce to show support for the new business.
What to expect
In addition to serving coffee "exclusively sourced from the heart of Latin America," Con Pilas also serves Latin pastries.
Refreshers, cake, and traditional food are just some of the things you can find on the menu. Flavors from Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, and various other Latin American origins will be offered.
The coffee shop is over 4,000 square feet that includes:
- A bookable event room
- A patio
- A loft area
- Private cubicles
The coffee house said it also offers community events and catering services. Con Pilas says they will start serving alcoholic beverages next month, but details have not been released.
