BENTONVILLE, Ark. — The Best Friends Animal Society, an animal welfare organization aiming to end pet euthanasia in American shelters by 2025, is offering free adoptions at all locations from Feb. 7-14.

More and more, people are going to breeders or stores to find pets, leaving shelters across America at capacity with animals that need rescuing. "There’s a perfect dog, cat, kitten, or puppy eager to be your teammate," said Julie Castle, Best Friends' CEO.
