Fayetteville Animal Services hosting 'Clear the Shelter' event

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Fayetteville Animal Services is joining the nationwide 'Clear the Shelter event' this month. 

This annual event is a pet adoption drive in which adoption fees are waived to help pets find a home. The campaign was launched in 2015 and has resulted in over one million pets finding new homes.

The event starts Saturday, Aug. 10 and ends Aug. 31. 

All animals will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
