Arkansas hunters offered free Hardee's sausage biscuit to mark new modern gun deer season

Officials invite hunters headed out to begin modern gun deer season to "stop and fuel up at their local Hardee's," with the promise of a free sausage biscuit.

ARKANSAS, USA — In a statement released by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC), officials invite hunters headed out to begin modern gun deer season to "make a quick pitstop to fuel up at their local Hardee's," with the promise of a free sausage biscuit to anyone who shows a valid hunting license during breakfast hours on Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Assistant Chief of Communication for the AGFC Trey Reid says "It's a great way of recognizing hunters’ contributions to Arkansas conservation ... Having a business show its appreciation for hunters and wildlife conservation in this way points to the importance of hunting to both Arkansas’s outdoor culture and our economy."

Reid says this is the fifth year the AGFC has worked with Hardee's to promote the kickoff of a new season.

Hunters may show their license, a printed paper copy, a screenshot of the license, or a commission-issued reloadable license to claim their food.
