Benton County K-9 sniffs out hidden device

Denver is one of two state electronic detection dogs, with one in Little Rock.

BENTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark — The Benton County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) is proud of its K-9 Denver and his handler, who work hard to help them find hidden devices.

Denver specializes in finding electronic devices with his handler, Detective Nguyen. This can be anything from cellphones, iPads, hard drives, and more. These devices may contain sensitive information, photos or contacts that are often looked for during search warrants.

Denver is one of two electronic detection dogs in the state, with one being at the Attorney General's Office in Little Rock.

"Denver has a knack for finding things no one else can! Whether it's hidden devices or sneaky stashes, our detectives gave it their best shot—but in the end, Denver’s nose always goes in for the win!" said BCSO.
