ARKANSAS, USA — The 19th annual Miracle Ball, a shared project of Arkansas Children’s Foundation and Arkansas Children’s Hospital Auxiliary, raised more than $1 million for the hospital’s expansion on Saturday.
Members of the auxiliary support Arkansas Children’s programs by volunteering their time and working to generate statewide donations. Money raised from the Miracle Ball will go toward the $6.25 million commitment the auxiliary made in support of the expansion project in 2023.
In 2024, Arkansas Children’s served 180,000 children, which a press release from the hospital said was “more children than ever before” and that the need for services continues to grow. The $318 million expansion across Arkansas Children’s focuses on delivering easier access, improved outcomes and better on-campus experiences throughout the pediatric health system.
