Former America's Car-Mart CEO Hank Henderson dies at 60

Henderson was well-known as the face of the company’s car commercials, which ended with Henderson saying the company’s tagline: “America’s Car-Mart; drive easy.”

ARKANSAS, USA — Hank Henderson, the former CEO of America’s Car-Mart Inc. in Rogers, died Saturday at age 60.

Henderson served as CEO of the buy-here, pay-here automobile company from 2007 to 2017. He started at America’s Car-Mart in 1987 and served as the publicly traded company’s chief operating officer from 1999 to 2002, and was president from 2002 to 2016.

Henderson was well-known as the face of the company’s car commercials, which ended with Henderson saying the company’s tagline: “America’s Car-Mart; drive easy.” During his tenure as CEO, America’s Car-Mart grew its dealerships from 20 to 143.
