State jobless rate falls to 3.4% in April as civilian workforce hits record high

ARKANSAS, USA — The state’s unemployment rate fell one-tenth of a percentage point to 3.4% in April as the civilian labor force and the number of employed both hit record highs, the Arkansas Division of Workforce Services reported.

The U.S. jobless rate in April increased one-tenth of a percentage point to 3.9%.
