The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) is planning on purchasing electric delivery vans, according to Canoo.
Canoo is an automotive company that makes electric vehicles in the U.S. According to the release, USPS will be purchasing "6 right-hand drive versions of Lifestyle Delivery Vehicle 190," this year.
"We couldn’t be prouder to put our innovative technologies to work for America’s largest fleet," said Canoo.
The release said this is part of USPS's $40 billion investment "to improvise its "organization's processing, transportation and delivery networks."
