ROGERS, Ark. — The Walmart AMP in Rogers has released its yearly ticket revenue numbers, heavily surpassing last year's total.
With the venue capacity at 11,000, including lawn seats and actual seats, the number of sellout shows (shows with more than 10,000 tickets sold) rose from one to eight shows this season.
There was also a record number of shows this season with a total of 39 and individual ticket sales rose from 191,000 to 275,000 this year.
- Ticket revenue from April 2021 to March 2022 was $8.3 million
- Ticket revenue from April 2022 to March 2023 was $14.2 million
However, the pandemic did affect the revenue stream in the 2021-2022 season.
Shows at the concert venue began in July 2021, rather than April when the AMP usually begins its shows for the season due to the pandemic. Shows did continue further into October 2021, though.
So far the biggest acts coming to perform in Rogers in 2023 include Tyler Childers in April, Matchbox Twenty in June and Foreigner in July.
