BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Walmart Inc. of Bentonville has agreed to sell outdoor retailer Moosejaw, which it acquired six years ago for $50 million, to Dick's Sporting Goods.
The deal is expected to close in March. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Moosejaw of Madison Heights, Michigan sells brands including Rocky Mountain, North Face, Columbia and Keen, as well as biking and snowsports equipment. It was one of several brands, such as Bonobos, that Walmart purchased around 2017 to build its ecommerce presence.
