Walmart's new 350-acre home office campus is set to host a Wright's Barbecue, as well as 11 other food outlets

Walmart’s new home office is still under construction, but certain facilities have already opened.

BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Jordan Wright didn’t hesitate to take up the chance to bring his barbecue franchise to Walmart Inc. of Bentonville.

Walmart’s new home office is still under construction, but certain facilities have already opened, including a children’s daycare center and a fitness center. Recently, the company announced its 8th & Plate Walmart employee food hall will have 12 outlets serving its associates. It’s expected to open in early 2025.

Wright founded Wright’s Barbecue in a Fayetteville food truck in 2016 and has since expanded to four locations, including downtown Bentonville and Little Rock. His fifth location will occupy a prime spot in Walmart’s 350-acre home office complex, separate from the 8th & Plate, and open to the public.
