FORT SMITH, Ark. — Spanish version: Para español haga click aqui.
Fort Smith resident Yevonda Frachiseur has claimed $130,000 after stopping at the J-Mart Midland Boulevard in Fort Smith for a lottery ticket. A regular lottery player, Frachiseur reportedly buys "ten days worth of tickets at a time."
Frachiseur won $300 a few days before she hit the $130,000 jackpot.
“No way,” Yevonda thought. “I’m looking at this wrong.”
She immediately called her children, who thought she was mistaken. Yevonda plans to take care of some home repairs with her prize. However, she intends to keep playing the lottery and does not rule out an extravagant vacation with any possible future winnings.
A few days earlier in Hot Springs, a man won a $25,000 prize. Paul Price Jr. and his wife intend to donate to their church, pay off credit cards, and bring electricity to the family boat dock.
