Cabot woman arrested for sale of methamphetamine, possession of firearms

A Cabot woman involved in the ongoing sale of methamphetamine was arrested after officers found drugs and firearms inside her home.

LONOKE COUNTY, Ark — An Arkansas woman involved in the ongoing sale of methamphetamine was arrested after officers found drugs and firearms inside her home.

According to reports, at around 10:00 a.m. on May 30, the Cabot Police Department, Central Arkansas Drug Task Force, and the Lonoke County Sheriff's Office all executed a search warrant at a home on W. Cherry Street in Cabot in regards to the sale of meth.

As they searched the home, officers found 23 grams of methamphetamine, eight firearms, and several drug paraphernalia items.

They arrested 39-year-old Shannon Hardin on charges of simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of meth with purpose to deliver, maintaining a drug premises, and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

She was taken to the Lonoke County Sheriff's Office but bonded out on the charges on June 1.
