CENTERTON, Ark. — 19-year-old Centerton man Nicholas Meadows is facing ten charges involving child sex abuse materials, according to court documents.
A Centerton Police Department (CPD) affidavit states that on June 5, 2023, authorities received evidence of "obvious child sex abuse material" being downloaded at an IP address in the area.
On Sept. 12, a residential search warrant found five devices with videos and images of child sex abuse involving boys between 5 - 15 years old, police said.
CPD said that Meadows admitted to downloading the material on that day, and further investigation of the devices showed him messaging other individuals to trade images and videos of sexually abused children.
Meadows is currently out on a $350,000 cash-only bond.
