FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — A Farmington woman employed at a local behavioral treatment center has been accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a child.

Stormy Ellison, 25, was arrested on Aug. 15 on one count of sexual indecency with a child.

A preliminary report says that on Aug. 14, a DHS hotline report was forwarded to the Fayetteville Police Department by an investigator with the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division.

The report claimed that Ellison, a Behavioral Health Associate at the Piney Ridge Treatment Center in Fayetteville, had shown a juvenile male resident nude images and videos of herself.

Piney Ridge is described by its website as a "102-bed psychiatric residential facility that has been specifically designed for girls and boys between the ages of 7 and 17 who are suffering from sexual behavior disorders."

An interview was conducted with the juvenile, who said that Ellison had asked him questions about his virginity and sexual history using an app on her phone, going on to proposition the juvenile to engage in sexual activity, the preliminary report said.

According to the report, the juvenile said that the behavior began on Aug. 6 and continued through Aug. 8. During that time, Ellison allegedly took him food and allowed him to speak to someone via FaceTime, which is against the center's policy.

An interview was later conducted with Ellison, who initially denied the behavior but later claimed she couldn't remember if she did or not, the report said. She later "corroborated the majority of the juvenile's statement," including using an app to communicate about future sex acts.

The report adds that Ellison admitted she spoke to the juvenile about meeting for sex after he was released from the facility, but she claimed she wasn't planning on doing that.

Ellison, a mandated reporter, had a position of trust and authority over the juvenile, according to the report.

According to her booking information, Ellison was released on a $10,000 bond and has a court hearing on Sept. 9 in Washington County.
