The Arkansas Justice Reform Coalition (AJRC) has partnered with Washington County officials to host a "Failure to Appear Warrant Clinic."

The clinic gives people "with an outstanding failure to appear warrant" in Washington County the opportunity to see an attorney on site and get information "about getting a new court date." This applies to felony or misdemeanor warrants.

There will also be public defenders and pro bono attorneys on site to discuss cases, AJRC said. Marshallese and Spanish translators will be available to help. Aside from these services, the clinic will also offer help with community resources such as health care, jobs, or help getting a GED or high school diploma. Food will also be provided at the event.

The clinic will be held on Feb. 20, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal  Church located at 224 N East Avenue. This is at the corner of Dickson Street and College Avenue across the Washington County Courthouse. According to AJRC, no law enforcement will be at the clinic.

You can pre-register online or by calling or the Washington County Prosecutor's Office at 479-444-1570. Though pre-registration is preferred, it is not required, AJRC said.
