Fayetteville drug trafficking organization sentenced to over 75 years combined in prison

The investigation led officials to identify 44-year-old Charles Grinder of McAlester as the group leader.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — According to the United States Attorney’s Office Western District of Arkansas, the final member of a Northwest Arkansas trafficking organization has been sentenced. 

A drug trafficking investigation was opened by the FBI and local authorities in October 2022. The investigation focused on a Fayetteville group distributing meth, court documents show.

The investigation led officials to identify 44-year-old Charles Grinder of McAlester as the group leader. He was also found to be "an incarcerated gang member who was a source of supply for methamphetamine into the Western District of Arkansas," according to the release.

Drug trafficking members: 

  • Charles Grinder: Sentenced to 420 months and five years of supervised release.
  • Chelsea Dray, 30, of Bentonville: Sentenced to 96 months and three years of supervised release.
  • Paige Johnson, 33, of Claremore: Sentenced to 87 months and three years of supervised release.
  • James Johnson, 40 of Wagoner: Sentenced to 188 months and three years of supervised release.
  • Destiny McGinnis, 20, of Stillwater: Sentenced to 46 months and three years of supervised release.
  • Christopher Outlaw, 39, of Tulsa: Sentenced to 72 months and four years of supervised release.
