FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — A Fayetteville man was arrested after following a woman into a bathroom at the Northwest Arkansas Mall and recording her through the stall, according to a preliminary report.
Jasper McCoy, 22, was booked into the Washington County Jail on Oct. 27 on charges of video voyeurism and harassment. He is being held on a $25,000 bond.

According to the report, police were dispatched to the JCPenney at 4201 N Shiloh Dr. for a disturbance between McCoy and another male.
After making contact with the caller, she told police that McCoy was following her and her boyfriend throughout the store.
The two eventually went to the bathroom at the business. When the woman entered a stall, she reportedly saw a person wearing black Nike shoes and gray joggers in the stall next to her, which she thought looked like odd attire for a woman. When she took a closer look, she told police the shoes also appeared to be too big for a woman.
As the woman stood up in the stall, she told police she saw a phone with its rear camera lens facing her, the report said.
The report said she texted and called her boyfriend and told him someone had photographed or recorded her while she was pulling her pants up.
As the woman was leaving the bathroom, another woman walked in with her young daughter. She reportedly told her what happened and the woman shouted and asked if a man was in there. That's when McCoy exited the stall, the report said.
According to the report, the woman's husband overheard the interaction and stepped in to confront McCoy. He reportedly told McCoy that his daughter was in the bathroom and McCoy replied, "I was just using the restroom."
That's when the woman's boyfriend, who said he immediately left the men's bathroom after receiving her messages, also stepped in. The boyfriend and McCoy struggled until McCoy agreed to stay until the police came.
The report said the woman provided a recording of McCoy trying to flee from her boyfriend and the other woman's husband. Police also collected footage from a camera in the business facing the restroom entryway, which reportedly caught McCoy entering the restroom hallway seconds after the woman did. Police also submitted McCoy's phone as evidence.
McCoy has a court hearing set for Oct. 30.
