GOSNELL, Ark. — A 26-year-old former sheriff's deputy for the Mississippi County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) has been arrested by Arkansas State Police (ASP) after he was charged with sexual assault and viewing child sex abuse materials.
According to ASP, Colton Crabb was arrested on Wednesday, March 27, and is facing a first-degree sexual assault charge and one felony charge of distributing, possessing, or viewing child sexual abuse material.
Crabb was arrested at his home in Gosnell without incident, ASP said. His bail was set for $50,000.
Crabb was employed with the Blytheville Police Department before he was hired at MCSO. ASP said Crabb is "no longer a law enforcement officer."
