FORREST CITY, Arkansas — An Arkansas doctor was arrested on Aug. 26 amid accusations he sexually assaulted female patients, according to the Arkansas State Police (ASP).
The investigation began in August 2023 when ASP received reports that Dr. Sudesh Banaji, 60, was sexually touching female patients during exams at his Forrest City clinic.
ASP special agents arrested Banaji and he was charged with six counts of sexual assault and one count of rape. He is being held at the Cross County Sheriff's Office on a $35,000 bond.
