FORT SMITH, Ark. — On July 12, the Fort Smith Police Department (FSPD) released information about an arrest made in connection to a shooting that happened a week before.
According to FSPD, there was a non-fatal shooting near 801 Garrison Avenue on the morning of July 5.
On July 11, Javin Ellingberg, 24, was arrested. He faces charges of battery, felony possession of a firearm, fleeing and resisting arrest, multiple drug charges, and failure to appear, according to FSPD.
