Police: Shooting leaves 1 injured in Fort Smith

According to police, the incident happened on the 5200 block of Johnson Street.

FORT SMITH, Ark. — The Fort Smith Police Department (FSPD) is investigating a shooting that took place on Thursday, May 16.

According to police, the incident happened on the 5200 block of Johnson Street. The shooting reportedly left one person injured with what police say are "non-life threatening injuries."

FSPD said no arrests have been made in connection to the shooting. Police said this is believed to be an isolated incident with no threat to the public.
