FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — A Green Forest man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison without the possibility of parole for sexually abusing a child.
Terencio "Junior" Perez-Cancino, 33, was arrested and indicted on two counts of sexually exploiting a minor via the production of child pornography.
The sentencing hearings were held in U.S. District Court in Fayetteville.
According to a release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Arkansas (WDAR), agents with Homeland Security Investigations found that Perez-Cancino had uploaded images to Snapchat of him sexually abusing an eight-year-old girl.
He admitted he created the images around two years prior, WDAR said. The child disclosed in an interview that Perez-Cancino had sexually abused her over a four-year period.
