Inmate allegedly escapes from correctional center in LeFlore County

According to his inmate registry, Goodson is 5'11", weighs 200 pounds, and has blonde hair and blue eyes.

LE FLORE COUNTY, Okla. — The LeFlore County Sheriff's Office is warning the public about an inmate who reportedly escaped the Jim E. Hamilton Correctional Center. 

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections (ODC) said that 51-year-old Douglas K. Goodson was last seen at around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13 before walking away from the correctional center.

According to his inmate registry, Goodson is 5'11", weighs 200 pounds, and has blonde hair and blue eyes. 

The ODC issued a wanted report on Goodson describing his tattoos. The report states he has a skull with a top hat and playing cards on his left arm, and the names Dustin, Cheyenne, a heart and roses on his right arm. 

Goodson has been charged with crimes including assault and or battery with a dangerous weapon, eluding a police officer, larceny of merchandise from a retailer, and fraudulently obtaining an ID, among other charges. 

Authorities ask that you do not approach Goodson if you see him. Anyone with information is asked to contact ODC at 405-425-2570.
