Oklahoma man sentenced for involuntary manslaughter

According to the release, 31-year-old Bradley Jordan Eagle-Tate of Stilwell was involved in a crash that killed one person and "seriously injured" another.

ADAIR COUNTY, Okla. — An Oklahoma man has been sentenced for involuntary manslaughter according to the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

According to the release, 31-year-old Bradley Jordan Eagle-Tate of Stilwell was involved in a crash that killed one person and "seriously injured" another.

The crash took place in Adair County on June 27, 2022, according to the release. 

The investigation revealed that Eagle-Tate "crossed into the oncoming lane of Oklahoma Highway 100 in a no-passing zone." Officials said he "clipped" a vehicle and then crashed head-on with another vehicle, killing the driver. The release states that Eagle-Tate admitted at the plea hearing that he had been under multiple drugs at the time of the crash. 

Eagle-Tate was charged with involuntary manslaughter and was sentenced to three years in prison, according to the release.
