FORT SMITH, Ark. — One person has been hospitalized after a shooting in Fort Smith on June 21.
A release from the Fort Smith Police Department (FSPD) says that officers were dispatched to N. 50th Street and Wirsing Avenue in regard to a shooting.
One victim was located and taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to FSPD.
Fort Smith police say that at this time, there does not appear to be any danger to the public.
An investigation is underway, and no arrests have been made.
