SPRINGDALE, Ark. — According to the Springdale Police Department (SPD), authorities are investigating a Jan. 11 shooting that left one person with non-life-threatening injuries on N 40th Street right off the Elm Springs exit of I-49.

SPD reports they responded to the address just after midnight and found one person with a single gunshot wound. That individual has been treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are still waiting for the hospital to provide an update on the shooting victim's condition this evening. No arrests have been made at this time.

Just five hours earlier, on the evening of Jan. 10, another shooting in Springdale killed two people, but police said the shootings were separate incidents.
