POTEAU, Okla. — A 22-year-old man from Poteau was sentenced to prison for killing his neighbor in 2022, according to officials with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
On the morning of Aug. 20, 2022, Christian Dunham shot and killed his neighbor with a .22 caliber revolver, and six months later he pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.
Dunham was sentenced to over 24 years in prison, according to DOJ officials.
