FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Fayetteville Police Department has announced the arrest of three people in connection to an armed robbery earlier this year but said that there are still more subjects they're searching for.
FPD said that on July 10 at around 4 a.m. officers responded to 3080 W. Wedington Drive after five suspects arrived in a stolen car and two of them, while wearing masks, hoodies, and gloves, began stealing from the store at that address.
The police department said that an employee tried to stop the act, which allegedly prompted one of the suspects to pull out a firearm and threaten them. The gun was ultimately fired during the alleged crime, but no one was injured and all five suspects fled.
After months of investigation, FPD announced on Nov. 13 that three of the five suspects had been arrested.
Police are still searching for two other persons of interest, according to FPD, and anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to contact the Criminal Investigation Division at 479-587-3520.
