STILWELL, Okla. — A former Stilwell public school teacher has been indicted for sexually abusing minors under the age of 12, according to the FBI in Oklahoma City.
47-year-old Lawrence Fourkiller is accused of sexually abusing "multiple" of his students while he was a teacher with Stilwell Public Schools. A recently unsealed indictment lays out six charges against Fourkiller for the alleged abuse.
The FBI in Oklahoma City coordinated with the FBI in Dallas to arrest Fourkiller at the DFW Airport on June 28, 2023.
Fourkiller faces a potential life sentence if convicted of sexually abusing his students, the FBI said in their statement.
Although Fourkiller has been arrested, the FBI says they and Stilwell Police Department are continuing to investigate the case. If anyone has any information that could be relevant to the charges against Fourkiller, the FBI asks to contact them at (405) 290-7770 or send an email to LFVictims@fbi.gov.
According to Fourkiller's Facebook page, he was employed as an elementary teacher.
The announcement of Fourkiller's indictment and charges was made by U.S. Attorney Christopher Wilson of the Eastern District of Oklahoma and Special Agent Edward J. Gray of the FBI’s Oklahoma City Field Office.
"The FBI has deployed its full investigative resources and is working closely with local law enforcement," the statement says.
